What should I wear to workout and what should I bring to the gym?

Clothes that are breathable and that you can move freely that does not restrict you body movement. Comfortable shoes with good support, water bottle, personal towel and no jewelry.

Are there age restrictions when it comes to working out with GLF Warriors?

Minimum age 16 with a Guardian, up to 18 years old no Guardian required.

If training at your home gym, when should I arrive?

Arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled training session. If you do not arrive on time, you may be asked to reschedule. Sessions are non refundable.

How many weeks should I train?

This will be discussed at time of consultation. We love seeing you everyday but we recommend 50 and older your muscles need more time to recover so 3 days training per week is recommended. Up to 50 years old we recommend 5 days training per week.

Is my child allowed to accompany me to your home gym?

No unfortunately I am not set up for child care.

What is your home gym etiquette?

Be mindful, kind and respectful to others that may be in the gym. No cell phone usage during your training session. No food allowed in gym, no strong perfume or scented lotions as others may be allergic. Please bring your sweat towel and water or option to purchase at my home gym.

Should I disclose my medications to my Fitness Trainer?

The Questionnaire will ask important physical, nutritional and health questions to help determine a Fit program for you. Should health conditions develop in between this is important information to share with GLF Warriors. I can also help guide you with your Doctors supervision.

If I lift heavy weight will I get Bigger?

Not necessarily with the right guidance to start you with the best program that is suitable for you. No problems should occur.

Should I start with Weight training or Cardio?

This is dependent on your physical condition and your goals. Likely your program will be a mix of both. Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced programs.

I think I’m ready, what else should I know about the work out?

The best way to learn is get started. Either group or personal sessions you will have the trainers full attention during your work out. Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled session, and follow instructions to help you reach your goals. I may modify or amplify your exercises based on your individual progress.
